Wi-Fi Pricing in Airports
Wi-Fi pricing schemes in airports are as bad as the flight prices we paid to get in here. Recently, I was in the Detroit airport and the WF connection was about $6 for a 24 hr period, or you could jack in through your existing provider like Boingo and skip the fee through partner arrangements. I thought this reasonable (I'd just blown that much at Starbucks, so what the hell, it was a long layover...) However, sitting in the Louisville airport, you are locked into Sprint, which gouges you for $10, and doesn't allow you to bypass them for your existing Wi-Fi provider. This sucks. Oh well, I never liked Sprint anyway. Post a comment
