New 37 Signals Book: Getting Real
GETTING REAL: THE NEW BOOK FROM 37SIGNALS
Today we announce the release of our latest book:
Getting Real: The smarter, faster, easier way to
build a successful web application
CHECK IT OUT, READ SAMPLE CHAPTERS, AND BUY A COPY https://gettingreal.37signals.com/ The book is available in PDF format for immediate download. There is no print version of this book at this time. We may or may not release a print version in the future. WHAT'S IT ABOUT? Getting Real details the business, design, programming, and marketing principles of 37signals. The book is packed with keep-it-simple insights, contrarian points of view, and unconventional approaches to software design. This is not a technical book or a design tutorial, it's a book of ideas. WHO SHOULD READ THE BOOK? Anyone working on a web app - including entrepreneurs, designers, programmers, executives, or marketers will find value and inspiration in this book. CHECK IT OUT, READ SAMPLE CHAPTERS, AND BUY A COPY https://gettingreal.37signals.com/ Dana, I bought it last night and am half way through reading it. There are good and bad things about the “book.” THE GOOD; Jason and his impressive team do an excellent job of challenging the traditional processes of software production. However, most of this book applicable to any project or process not just software development. THE BAD; your boss may not want to hear it. Use caution when applying 37 Signal’s “out of the box thinking” in some workplaces. You may come across as a poor team player or uninterested in organization/communication. I speak from experience. I highly recommend buying and reading Getting Real. It also makes a great gift for a co-worker (if not your boss ;). Post a comment
