My frustration with overly restrictive Wi-Fi hotspots has come to an end, namely the one I mentioned the other day, thanks to the JiWire SpotLock Wireless Secuity download.

Some of you might remember JiWire as the 'hotspot finder' tool with a downloadable database of user submitted hotspots from around the world. Well, they still have that too. But now they've added a wireless security tool that allows you to email, FTP,VNC and all of those other great things that some hotspots don't allow you to do, and all from a secure connection to boot!
