* IBM has 4000 + internal blogs and about 30 official external blogs
* IBM acknowledges that some people still do use Lotus Notes...amid a nasty hissing sound from the audience. I take back what I said a while back about RSS getting popular when Notes adopted it. Notes will die. RSS will live on in better form.
* FON was very recently launched and has not spent dollar 1 on advertising. Launching in France today. Free WiFi roaming. First version works only Linksys - linux enabled access point.
* Where do CEOs fit in blogging? There's a blurring of personal and professional - it's a personal question. I've heard others say that CEOs have nothing to say.
* Skype has a huge techie user group, BUT there are a very high number of skype users that are over 50...be warry of focusing only on the traditional early adopter set.
* ROI on blogging - the cost is the effort of the advertiser - ROI is still a hard question to answer with blogs.
