Over the past week, I've received no less than 3 product pitches via the various social networks that I'm linked into. Pretty good execution from all of the people involved. One came through via Monster networking, while the other two came via LinkedIn. I've not yet tried to sell anything to anyone via a social network, but what the hell, it might be worth a try... iMedia Connection: Product Demonstrations Joseph Jaffe talks about how product demonstrations dial into a particular sweet spot of the Internet, namely the dominant role it plays in the research phase of the consumer adoption process. Especially in B2C, where "samples" are not floating around for buyers to touch feel, this is extremely important. Also great as a launch tool for new durable goods products.
