SHOWTIME DOLES OUT HOME DEPOT COUPONS
As a part of its first-quarter acquisition campaign, Showtime Networks is offering new subscribers a $50 gift card to The Home Depot stores or the Atlanta-based chain's EXPO Design Centers. The offer runs through April 30. Direct mail, TV spots, online activity and P-O-P displays support. New York City-based Showtime handles in-house.

Overture, Gator, and Applied Semantics are all playing the game where by they propigate the search with terms that may not be exactly what you typed, but what the search provider views as "conceptually relevant categories" that may interest you.

For those who are stat happy or need numbers for reports, The Department of Commerce, Census Bureau will release 4th Quarter 2002 Retail E-Commerce Sales on Monday, February 24, 2003 at 10a EST.

Useit.Com: Voice Interfaces: Assessing the Potential. So, it's not that voice is useless. It's just that it is often a secondary interaction mode when additional media are available. It's much easier to pick out the desired item from a list when the list is displayed on a monitor than when it's read aloud.
